BRAC = Bolingbrook Recreation and Aquatic Complex
Description: The in-house league is a recreational
soccer league for players at all skill levels. The league is
co-ed and everyone is ensured at least 3 quarters of play in every
game (assuming we have enough volunteer coaches, see below). The
Spring session runs from mid April through the end of June, No games Memorial Day weekend (10
games). Divisions are created based on age as of April 17,
2010:
Elementary: 5-6 years old
Minor: 7 years old (or 6.5 years old with 2 seasons of experience)
Junior: 8-9 years old
Intermediate: 10-11 years old
Senior: 12-14 years old
The BSC does not require the selling of candy, walkathons or
raffle tickets. All we ask is for your time as a
volunteer. Volunteers include concession stand helpers,
coaches, referees and team parents.
To make our program a success and to ensure everyone has an
opportunity to play, volunteer coaches are needed. Even if
you know little about soccer, we will educate you through our
coaches' clinics. Registration may be limited based on the
number of coaches available in a particular division. If you
are interested in coaching you can volunteer at registration or
please call John Smith, Director of Adult Education and
Training at 630-226-1840.

Prescription Glasses
Policy: According to the American Academy of
Ophthalmology, 100,000 eye injuries occur each year in people
under the age of 25 during sports or recreational
activities. Children playing basketball, racquetball, tennis
and soccer should wear sports goggles with polycarbonate lenses
and side shields.
All players will be required to wear either sports goggles that
protect their prescription glasses or prescription sports
goggles. This is a policy implemented by the BSC to protect
players from injury. Players not conforming to this rule
will not be allowed to practice or play in the BSC program.
Permitted vision correction devices include: soft contact
lenses, sport glasses (with plastic, rounded edge frames
specifically designed for contact sports) or regular framed

Bolingbrook Soccer Club Traveling program offers Boys and Girls, ages 7 through 18
the chance to continue improving there soccer skills by playing against other skilled players
from nearby towns. Traveling also gives players the opportunity to advance quicker and
learn more about the fun game of soccer. Please read more information
about why to play traveling soccer at BSC.
All Bolingbrook Traveling teams are registered with IYSA (Illinois Youth Soccer League),
through the IWSL and NISL. The boys operate through the NISL (Northern Illinois Soccer
League) and the Girls program operate through the IWSL (Illinois Women Soccer
League).
All home games (i.e., half of the games) are played the Lily Cache Sports Fields,
located on Hassert (111th St). just west of Weber Rd. The other half of the games
are "away games" played at other team's facilities.
