We need to hvae proof that all parents have accepted this agreement. We will add it to our on-line form that must be accepted to play (with the hold harmless clause, ....). Have some PCA trainers come out for a 3 hour session (would cost $600). Run a bunch of 10-15min sessions for parents to attend. Perhaps have a raffle for people who attend. Provide a "reward" for team who have 75% team attendance. Perhaps have T-shirts for all board members. Have some T-shirts made up for the referees to wear while doing the game that day. Also for the parents that attend the PCA meeting. Want to get a tent for the meeting. Michelle will ask Jim P if we can get a tent. Want to get "Honor the Game" cards that the kids can hand out to the parents before the game. Keys to garage A few people still need a key to the garage. Greg is getting more keys to the BPD. Traveling - Russ presented field size recommendations from the IYSA and how they apply to our in-house and traveling programs. Russ will provide spreadsheet of recommendations to be included here. IYSA tournament (i.e., ours) will be affected by these new rules from IYSA. Note that all teams will "move up" a year before our tournament happens. Greg mentioned that when we switched Elementary from 11v11 to 4v4 (a long time ago), we took a lot of questions from parents. We will look for some supporting material from the US Youth Soccer who is driving all of these guidelines. Multi-Team Policy - Proposed modification: Want a guideline for when the teams must decide when they want players (to ensure that the "higher" team(s) don't wait so long to decide that "lower" teams do not have time to sign players. Had a bunch of discussion. Kevin will rewrite based on discussion. Need to ask if the 50% rule for BB residents is per team or per age group or per club or ???? |
