Tournament -
Russ presented the new field size and number of players per division. The NISL divisions changed significantly and some of the IWSL rules changes. Russ will present to the coaches at the next coaches meeting. This will potentially affect the field sizes needed for IYSA sanctions tournament. Tournement directors meeting will be Mar 8th and the Schaumburg convension center. For the U12G team there are 9 girls signed up available. Russ is going to suggest that Hector start working with the girl and then work in-house to pick up 5 more girls to fill out the team. John is looking into starting a U7 training team to perhaps play a couple of tournaments in addition to playing in-house. |

Board member commentsstrong> - - Bill M - None John - None Bill K - None Russ - Have a new referee assigner. Ron Colazzi from Oswego is the assigner. A number of board members know him and speak well of him. An on-line scheduling system will be used where referees can sign-up for games to ref. Coaches are encouraged to provide feedback on referees. Pool party will be 6/22 (Sunday) - 6:15pm - 10:??pm, $150 for initial allotted number of people and then $4/person after that. NISL is "increasing" their coaching stanards. Require an E for all head coaches. U13 and up are required to have a D license. Plus a bi-annual continuig education program. Plus first aide requiremnts (CPR and first aide certification). Have until 1/1/2010 to meet requirements. Michelle - None Matt - Working with Hammerhead on a couple of minor issues. Overall everything seems to be going very well. Look at export of coaches to excel and potential extra fields that should be done. |
