New accounts are open at Hawthorne.  Old accounts are not yet closed, but will be after a few months (allowing time for everyone to cash any checks that have been issued).

Michelle put together an initial 2008 budget for review.

Traveling is owed about $30K-$40K for indoor.

On-line registration -

Matt will send out link to HH issues to board.

Matt will send out email announcing registration opening on 2/1.  in the email mention:

Email to coaches from last Fall asking them to contact Tom with their coaching availablity for the Spring.  Want to get this out early so that we can get a list of coaches prior to the end of registration and not be in a scramble to find coaches at the end.

7 Board member comments
Kathleen - Nothing
Chris - Credit cards fees need for got.soccer tournament registration (i.e., convienence fee).  Currently the site says we just accept checks.
Bill K - Went to the storm game and won a $200 bike.  Use it for a raffle prize at the tournament.
Russ - Looking to book travel pool party. Moving to the weekend after Father's Day.  Looking for some other team to take over schedule.  Considering giving that team 7-10 extra entry "passes" for the party.
Matt - Nothing
Michelle - Camp is the 1st week of Aug.  Team camp is out as for as reserved spots. However, a team could do one for $850 if they wanted (i.e., we would pull a trainer to coach the camp).
John Sidman - New fields will be open for the Tournament.  Asking what fields we should put on those fields.  U12B will be 8v8 for tournaments (IYSA) --> Jr fields.  So, 3x Jr & 2x Int/Sr on main fields, 3x Minor on new fields.  Need to finalize this so that we can determine how many teams we can accept at the various levels.
Tom - New Nike uniforms are bleeding red on to the letters and they are turning pink.  Jeff Smith reported similar results with the Mass warm-ups.  PCA dates?
