CLUB PHILOSOPHY |
|
The Bolingbrook Soccer Club of Illinois (BSC) is organized for the purpose of
promoting soccer in Bolingbrook. The BSC recognizes that competition is a
natural inclination. The focus of our club is the fun of the sport and
winning is secondary. The purpose of the program is for the enjoyment of
participation and the right to compete in the sport. As a team sport,
soccer provides the players an opportunity to work together, develop a sense of
fair play and learn to play in a disciplined atmosphere with rules created to
promote fair play.
To accomplish these purposes adult participation must be supportive of good
sportsmanship through positive coaching. The BSC has formed a partnership with
the Positive Coaching Alliance to promote positive behavior among parents,
coaches and players. To this end, we commit our time, energy and talent. |
